The data you type into VariClass — gene, transcript, HGVS, the criteria marked, and the justifications written — never leave your browser. Score calculation and report generation happen entirely on your computer; nothing is sent, saved, or logged on any server. We do not collect patient or clinician names.
Submitting a problem report is optional. When you use this feature, we store only the description you write and the page where the report was made; variant data, selected criteria, and justifications entered in the calculator are not attached. To prevent abuse, an IP address hash and submission count are kept for the one-hour window without storing the raw IP. Do not include names, patient data, or other personal information in the report.
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are disabled by default and load only after you consent. Your choice is saved locally in your browser and can be changed at any time through the Cookies button. Refusing does not limit any calculator feature, and the data entered in it is not sent to these tools.
